What we want from you:

  • Leadership skills - you know how to motivate and organise a kitchen team and lead them through the day with a steady hand.
  • Team player through and through - there is just as much teamwork in our kitchen as in football or basketball.
  • Experience and expertise - you have in-depth knowledge of preparing and presenting high-quality food and have already successfully managed a kitchen.
  • Flexibility and adaptability - Whether it's sushi, banqueting or à la carte, you're ready to adapt to different styles of cuisine and pass on your knowledge.

Challenges:

  • In the catering industry, crunch time comes up again and again. Time pressure, more work and a team that wants to deliver a good result together. For us, this means stepping on the gas every now and then, but on other occasions there is less to do. Nevertheless, you can't avoid longer days
  • Leading an international team. We are made up of Spaniards, Moroccans, Turks, Vietnamese and Germans - any other nationality is welcome. This also means that you have to find a happy medium in the management so as not to step on anyone's toes, but to make it clear what work has to be done in how much time so that the guest can leave us satisfied at the end.
  • Cleanliness and hygiene is one of the most important issues. Not only in the realisation of oneself, but especially to pay attention to the other players and to encourage them to treat their workplace, the equipment and themselves well.
  • Orders from regular traders are also a sensitive issue, as they are directly related to the cost of goods and therefore also to the possibility of better payment.
  • If we can work together to make everything more efficient without compromising on quality, we will have a common goal
